In the lead-up to the Summer Paralympic Games, officially the XVI Summer Paralympic Games which will take place from 24 August to 5 September in Tokyo, France.TV has launched a campaign, ‘Few Seconds Before’, to promote the Games and celebrate the athletes taking part.
Created by MullenLowe France, the film shows previous medal-winning athletes getting ready to return to their field of play, from fencing, triathlon, and shot put, to long jump, and football. The tension is palpable, concentration is high, and the viewer's heart beats in time with the athletes', to the rhythm of the musical introduction of Queen's “We Will Rock You”.
The film will be broadcast on all France.TV channels from 16 May to 5 September 2021. It follows the launch of animated film ‘Le Sumo’, to promote the Olympic Games, created by MullenLowe France in partnership with illustrator, Stéphane Levallois, who was inspired by the masters of Japanese art to pay tribute to the country of the rising sun.
