Coloring in the Gorillaz

Deutsche Telekom is enabling customers to see a hidden musical world through magenta shades.

The future may be Orange, but Deutsche Telekom’s preferred shade is magenta. With the help of Saatchi & Saatchi London, the telecom provider is using its signature color in a similar way to the famous “green screen” deployed in broadcasting, delivering cool content via an application called “The Lenz”.
Thanks to a color detection system, every magenta surface is transformed into a screen. And who are the stars of this hidden dimension? Virtual rock band Gorillaz, of course! Via the application, fans will have access to live concerts and interviews. Thanks to Deutsche Telekom, magenta has become a medium.
