Uncommon was set up by Nils, Natalie and Lucy nearly 2 years ago in September 2017. We believe that our industry needs to change. People wouldn’t care if three quarters of brands disappeared tomorrow. We have reached peak stuff. And people spend good money to avoid what advertising agencies spend their lives making. Yet, despite this doom & gloom, we believe that business, brands and advertising can make a difference. Some brands can make a difference like never before. They do things differently. They try to fuel a passion or fix a problem in the world. They are the brands that people in the real world are glad exist. These brands are valuable. They are few and far between. That’s why we call them uncommon brands. It’s also why we named our business Uncommon.
