SS+K announced today that Stevie Archer has joined the agency as Executive Creative Director. An alum of Mullen and McKinney, Stevie comes to SS+K from Big Spaceship, where she won, ran and grew the Starbucks account.  She’s created award-winning work for brands including Nationwide Insurance, Travelocity, T.J. Maxx, Sherwin-Williams, Gold’s Gym, Ad Council, and Samsung.

Stevie will oversee creative development for SS+K, for clients such as Airbnb, Tourism Australia, Commonwealth Bank, Microsoft, NARAL, NCAA, and Wells Fargo.  She will also join with senior creatives from M&C Saatchi partner agencies for marketing solutions for US and global clients. SS+K is known for its memorable work on HBO, Delta, Honest Tea, and Obama (’08 & ’12).

“Stevie is a rising star and has a broad view on how creative work gets done,” said Lenny Stern, Co-founder of SS+K and Co-Chair of M&C Saatchi New York.  “She has a great outlook on creative, a strategic mind, and the energy and passion to attack our clients’ challenges.”

Stevie, a copywriter, has a portfolio of work including one of Starbucks’ most watched holiday videos. She also helped the brand create the very first Frappuccino “Sip Kit” to successfully relaunch the S’mores Frappuccino.  Her award-winning brainchild “Chip It” for Sherwin-Williams, which instantly turns any digital image into a shareable Sherwin-Williams paint palette, has been used more than a million times and was awarded at Cannes, One Show, and Mixx Awards. While at McKinney, Stevie helped to revitalize Travelocity’s brand via the Roaming Gnome, overhauling his social media presence across every channel, even earning him an induction into Twitter’s exclusive ranks as a Creative Favorite.

“Joining SS+K now is so exciting because we’re living in a time of unprecedented disruption. And tackling the shocking new changes that come at us each morning is actually what gets the thinkers and creators at SS+K out of bed every day. Here, every change is a chance for us to create something great, and to help our clients realize their missions despite the constant social, economic and political upheaval we’re facing.”

“Stevie’s portfolio shows that she thinks across all mediums, her ideas are unique and not one-size-fits-all,” said Rob Shepardson, Co-Founder of SS+K and Co-Chair of M&C Saatchi New York.  “Our teams are looking forward to working with Stevie and we welcome her to SS+K and M&C Saatchi New York.”
