Platige Image, an award-winning European production, VFX and post-production studio, has been nominated for the Best Game Cinematic Animago Award 2019 for their Metro Exodus: Artyom's Nightmare trailer.
Platige's trailer introduces the viewers to the various environments and the story of the lastest entry in the Metro video game series. With Artyom, the main protagonist, we see a glimpse of things to happen in the span of a vast post-apocalytpic adventure.
Metro Exodus, developed by 4A Games and published by Deep Silver, is a part of the Metro universe, which spans a series of best selling books, literary spin-offs and digital adaptations. Platige is especially proud that their work has received praise from the die-hard fans of the series, and now from the Animago jury.
Tomek Suwalski, Director:
"Animago is one of the most important conferences of the graphics and animation industry. It's also one of the few awards that recognizes game cinematics. To have our work selected as one of the three best of 2019 is a great honour and a privilege."
Daria Zienowicz, Producer:
"It's a reason to be proud for all of us. Despite the fact that we're all listed separately in the credits and everyone has had a different kind of input, Metro Exodus: Artyom's Nightmare is the result of our joint work. That's why I'd like to thank one and all for the creative dialogue, engagement, professional approach and great teamwork. The strength is in the team,"
