Morten Tyldum

Originally Morten dreamt of a career as a musician, but he changed his plans when he was accepted as a student at The School of Visual Arts in New York. When he came back to Norway he directed several award winning commercials and short films. In 1999 he was titled “the Movie Talent of the Year” in Dagbladet (Norways biggest newspaper), and he had his feature film debut in 2003, “Buddy”. The film became a huge success. In 2011 he followed up his success with “Headhunters”. This movie opened a lot of international doors for Morten. “Headhunters” was nominated to a Peoples Choice Award under the European Film Awards, and for best foreign language movie under the BAFTAs in 2012. Morten is currently living in LA and his first Hollywood production, “The Imitation Game” will open London Film Festival in October 2014. Morten is known for his unique narrative skills, something that is also reflected in his commercials. He has a strong visual style and he has a good eye for details. In 2004 he created Einar Film og Fortellinger AS together with producer Guri Neby. 

Aksel Hennie

Aksel is both a very talented director and actor. After he graduated from The Academy of Theatre in Oslo he has played leading roles on stage and on the screen. He has headlined several of the most successful films in Norway the last decade, among them “Max Manus”, “Headhunters” and “Pionér”. In 2014 you can see him in the American blockbuster “Hercules”.

In 2004 Aksel had his debut as a director with the feature film “Uno”. The film is partly based on Aksel own story, and he also wrote the script and played the leading role.
The film became a huge success, and Aksel found out he enjoyed directing. So since 2005 he has directed commercials with a tremendous success. In 2007 and 2008 he won Gullfisken (best commercial of the year in Norway) for his commercials for NetCom.

Aksels experience as an actor gives him a unique ability to create characters, and to give instructions to the talents. His commercials are known for his good casting, warmth and humour. 

Jens Lien

In 1990 Jens moved from his hometown Oslo to London. His plan was to play rock music in the British capital. Three years later he returned to Oslo, newly graduated from London International Film School. Norway had lost a rock musician, but gained a talented filmmaker. Jens has several times attained international attention with his distinct, personal and original short- and feature films. His first feature film “Jonny Vang”(2003) premiered at Berlin International Film Festival and in 2006 he won the ACID award for “The Bothersome Man” under the film festival in Cannes. His latest film, "Sons of Norway", premiered at Toronto Film Festival in 2011. The movie featured John Lydon (Sex Pistols) in a guest appearance. And in December 2014 his new TV-series “Viva Hate” will premiere on SVT (The Swedish Broadcaster). 

Arild Fröhlich

Arild Fröhlich

Arild started his career in NRK (The Norwegian Broadcaster). Recently graduated from Volda University College with a degree in TV- and documentary studies, it was a short way to NRK. In NRK he got the possibility to express himself creatively, and he took part in some of NRKs most successful humour-series ever.

This made the foundation for his humorous and playful narrative style. In 2005 he had his feature film debut with “Pitbullterje”. The film became a huge success. It won the prize for Best Children- and Youth Film during the Amanda Award (The Norwegian Oscar). Since then he has directed several feature films, among them “Doctor Proktor: Bubble in the bathtub”(2014), based on a novel by Jo Nesbø. The sequel will premiere in 2015.

Arilds humorous and playful style is also an important ingredient in his commercials, which are known for great charm and warmth. 

Nicolai Cleve Broch

Nicolai Cleve Broch

Nicolai is primarily known as an actor from several Norwegian films and TV-series. After he graduated from The Academy of Theatre in Oslo in 1999, he has played in some of Norways most successful feature films. In 2007 he was “Shooting Star” in Berlin International Film Festival. For several years Nicolai has directed radio commercials next to his acting, and six years ago he started directing behind the camera for Einar Film.

His experience in front of the camera has made Nicolai a hardworking director, with a superior understanding for personal instruction. 

Lars Tovik

Lars Tovik

In early 2000 Lars packed his bags and moved to London. He started working as an in-house promo producer and director at Viasat. After a short while he got picked up by National Geographic, where he directed promos and commercials for the TV-channel.

Since then he has gained himself an international reputation, and he does commercials all over the world, including USA, Germany and China.

In 2010 he moved back to Norway and he has been a part of Einar Film since 2013.

With his international experience, Lars has an extraordinary understanding of filmmaking, and he masters different styles and genres. His commercials have a strong and clear visual style. 

Calle Åstrand

Calle started to work in the advertising business in Stockholm in the late 80s. In 1992 he directed his first commercial. Since then he has directed hundreds of commercials all over the world, among them campaigns for IKEA, Mercedes and Sony. His film, “Pig”, for IKEA was for a while the most watched commercial on Youtube. For the past 10 years he has worked in USA, Great Britain and Germany, with both commercials and fiction for cinema and television.

His latest TV-production, “Welcome to Sweden”, is produced by NBC and stars Will Ferrel, Patrick Duffy and Amy Poehler.
