Jim joined Martin|Williams as an Art Director in l985 and quickly proved his talents on clients like Marvin Windows, 3M, Novartis, Northern States Power, Shoneys, Coleman and Bissell. Jim?s skill as both an Art Director and creative leader helped him move up the ranks to Creative Supervisor in l989, Vice President in l993, Associate Creative Director in l995, and Senior Vice President, Creative Director in 1999.
During his tenure at Martin|Williams, Jim has touched nearly every major client. He is a working creative leader who is directly involved with accounts like L.L. Bean, Cargill, and Marvin Windows and Doors.
The style and content of Jim?s work could best be characterized as ?genuine? and ?sincere?...perhaps owing to his strong interests outside of work: his wife, three children and a strong love of outdoor activities.
Prior to joining Martin|Williams, Jim worked at Kolesar & Hartwell, Minneapolis and Doyle Dane Bernbach, Denver.
Jim?s work has been recognized by virtually every national award show including New York Art Directors, One Show, Clio and Communication Arts. In l993, Jim was named one of the midwest?s hottest Art Directors by Ad Age/Creativity magazine.
