Dennis began his advertising career in Houston, Texas, as a writer at a small boutique agency, Daigle, Merriman and Associates. He worked on accounts including Host International Hotels, The Texas Democratic Party, Riviana Foods, The Masonry Institute of Houston/Galveston and Churches Fried Chicken. Dennis went on to Grey Communications as Creative Director and handled Coke Foods, Rice Food Markets, U.S. Homes, Lone Star Beer and California Coolers accounts. After leaving Grey, Dennis freelanced for a year at large international agencies including Ogilvy & Mather and McCann-Erickson, where he applied his talents to projects for Exxon, Shell, The Houston Chronicle and Dresser Industries. Moving east in 1986, he was hired as Senior Writer at Keyes Martin Advertising and later became Vice President/ Creative Director working on Citibank, AT&T, Mutual Benefit Life, Blue Cross & Blue Shield, Newark Beth Israel Hospital and Weight Watchers accounts, among others. Dennis joined Source Communications in 1994 as Senior Vice President/Creative Director. Over the years, he has won awards from the Houston Art Directors Club, The Houston Ad Federation, New Jersey Art Directors Club and the Atlanta Film Festival.
