Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Literature and a Master’s degree in Communications Design, Anna combines writing and art skills which have been proven invaluable in her career. A good sense of strategy, a love for the unconventional and breakthrough, hybrid thinking, an inclination to always consider branding and popular culture in designing any communication, are some of her skills she considers important.
Her career started in New York, where she spent ten years, studying and working for both big agencies and hot shops. In Greece she headed the creative departments of FCB, Leo Burnett, and McCann Erickson, before taking up the challenge of exploring the potential in developing markets, as head of the creative department of Ogilvy & Mather, Sofia.
She has handled a very wide range of top line multi-national brands in both service and consumer goods categories and has contributed to the successful building of many strong local brands. She has contributed to the creative reputation of all the agencies she has been part of with impressive results.
A strong need for creative freedom along with her views on the changes in the field, led her to opt for working independently, pushing for higher standards of communication excellence through the progressive creative agency structure she has founded out to lunch - an award-winning independent creative agency, a flexible collective of thought leaders making a difference for brands, for companies looking for innovative ways to communicate in a constantly changing and demanding world.
She has won numerous Ermis, Fara, Effie, Indie awards and has distinctions from all major international creativity festivals: National Diplomas from Cannes International Advertising Awards, Golden Drum, New York Festivals, Epica, and Eurobest.
She has been a member of the Ermis Awards organizing committee, as well as of the international juries for Golden Drum and New York Festivals.
She considers herself a citizen of the world and loves a good piece of communication more than ice cream.
