Sinopsis Mastercard, as an innovative technological company, wanted to raise awareness about its ID Check – the usage of best biometrics for safer payments.

And by connecting the two most sophisticated ones - fingerprint and face recognition – we’ve created a series of portraits using only fingerprints.
Around 1,050,000 fingerprints taped on canvas to create very realistic portraits; thus suggesting the very thin probability of matching such a complex security filter.

We invited a renowned artist - Jan Petrov - to paint the portraits using only fingerprints and exhibit them in the prestigious SmetanaQ Gallery, at the Authentication & Biometry press conference.
The audience witnessed live how the artist crafted such a portrait. We auction the resulted artwork, and people could buy it with face recognition payment.
