Born in Caracas, Venezuela, in 1971, he’s the first son of a military band conductor and arranger and a former choral alto singer. He obtained his Master in Music, Jazz Composition at CODARTS/Rotterdamse Conservatorium (The Netherlands), and in the meantime he has been nominated and awarded in Venezuela, United States and The Netherlands many times for his work as composer, conductor and producer. Some works of his extensive composing catalogue is available through Edition Ferrimontana (Choral Music), Donemus (Contemporay Jazz) and Cayambis Music Press (Chamber Music).
He has been vice-president of the Choral Federation for Central America and the Caribbean, member of the Venezuelan Society for Contemporary Music and the International Federation for Choral Music. He's currently member of the Contemporary A Cappella Society of America (CASA) and the European Voices Association.
