I launched Mobile Marketing magazine online in November 2005 in parallel with the then day job of a freelance journalism, writing mainly for marketing trade publications such as Marketing, Revolution and The Marketer.
After hooking up with ex-Mobile Europe publisher John Owen, we relaunched the site in June 2010, ripping up the Typepad blog and replacing it with a shiny new Drupal site.
We are now also in print and on the iPad, quarterly, currently working on Issue 18 (Sep 2014). We are also running a growing number of events, including the Mobile Retail Summit, the Effective Mobile Marketing Awards; the Masterclassing series (see below); and Mobile Marketing Life, (previously Mobile Marketing Live) now in its third year.
We also run sponsored webinars, and in June 2014, launched the Making Sense series of events, in which, with the help of brands, analysts and digital marketing experts, we attempt to demystify the latest marketing technologies, from proximity marketing to programmatic buying.
