Adrian Botan studied Architecture & Design in Bucharest. He was looking for a job which could mix artistic and rational features. He started his career as a designer in a Romanian creative shop and then worked in advertising. Since he joined McCann Erickson in 1998 where he has been working as a creative director, his team has won over 150 awards for creativity and effectiveness in various international advertising competitions. He is also responsible for many successes of his agency: McCann Romania was elected 6 times Agency of the Year in 3 national and regional competitions and in 2007 McCann Romania entered the Gunn Report’s Top 50 creative agencies in the world. Today, he is regional creative director for McCann Erickson in Central and Eastern Europe and was Jury President of Print & Design at the Cristal Festival 2012.
