Schafer Condon Carter is Chicago's top independent mid-size advertising agency, and one of the fastest-growing shops in the U.S. In the last several years, SCC has experienced significant growth and generated positive results for our clients. This momentum has allowed us to attract a diversified group of great companies that includes Allen Edmonds Shoe Company, Beam Global Spirits, Campbell’s Foodservice, The Chicago Cubs, Giordano's, First Midwest Bank, Kerrygold Butter & Cheese, Procter & Gamble, The National Pork Board, Smithfield Foods and Terlato Wines. Additionally, we were recently tapped by the Advertising Council to serve as agency-of-record on a critical government initiative sponsored by the Department of the Treasury and Fannie Mae.

SCC has a unique culture and spirit fostered by our founders’ entrepreneurial philosophy. After 8 years of creative and strategic posts in Chicago and San Francisco, former college roommates Mark Schafer and Tim Condon got together and set out to ‘do advertising’ in a different, better way. With no money, no clients and the U.S. in a recession, they built a new advertising concept around a simple, powerful, idea: ‘Think Again’. ‘Think Again’ is the challenge we give ourselves – and our clients - every day. It means to never settle, to always seek better, stronger, strategic, creative and tactical ideas that disrupt, engage and endear the target to our clients’ brands. It means to be totally committed to continuous improvement. 25 years after our start in 1989, we’re a dynamic, 100 member growing team with multiple integrated operating units and a blue-chip roster of brands. We’re proud of our aggressive, scrappy, entrepreneurial spirit. And we’re proud to build our clients' success, and our own, by challenging the status quo and delivering fully-integrated brand ideas.
