To promote itself, Brussels hits the deck

What’s the best way to sell the underrated city to business folk? A presentation of 1000 slides should do the job.

Visit.Brussels wanted to highlight the city as a business destination. Business people have a love-hate relationship with presentation decks of the PowerPoint variety. So why not grab their attention with a very different deck? Forget “one minute per slide”. The agency Air created a two-minute animation that used more than 1000 slides to show the city’s best sides in a eyepopping array of images. The deck was mailed directly to the target audience. There’s even a flipbook version. It certainly appealed to the Creative Club of Belgium, which awarded it a Silver and two Bronzes.
