Opendoor and Venables Bell + Partners take on holiday home selling

 

The holiday season is all about celebrating traditions. But when it comes to selling a home, the holidays are considered a slow time of year, with fewer buyers in the market, fewer offers, and less available cash.

This year, Opendoor wanted to defy tradition with a new spot that empowers homeowners with more ways to sell — all in one place.

Inspired by the untraditional trio of chicken, duck, and turkey that often takes center stage during Thanksgiving celebrations, Opendoor teamed up with Venables Bell + Partners to launch a new ad that shows three great things coming together during the holidays.

The spot takes viewers on a historical journey through an unconventional holiday feast. Then, it introduces Opendoor’s own festive real estate innovation: what could almost be described as Opendoor's Turducken of Offers. With Opendoor, homeowners enjoy two options wrapped in the certainty of a simple sale:

  • Sell directly to Opendoor for an all-cash sale closing in as little as two weeks — eliminating the stress of cleaning, staging, and prepping for showings.
  • List your home on the MLS with the support of a local Opendoor partner agent while also having Opendoor’s cash offer in your back pocket.
