Sinopsis | The spot begins with a single female voice explaining how frequently men interrupt women. She cites studies, statistics and very public examples of this happening to demonstrate that this isn’t something in our heads, but rather a symptom of a much deeper problem. As she speaks, the woman doesn’t take a single break or pause. She doesn’t even finish her sentence until, 51 seconds later, she explains that she couldn’t because a man would’ve just interrupted her. An announcer tells us the spot is from GirlTalkHQ.com, a female empowerment news media site that will always remain uninterrupted. |
Problema | GirlTalkHQ.com is a female empowerment news media platform. So we wanted to highlight the growing numbers of studies and statistics showing that men interrupt women at an alarming rate, and we did it with an uninterruptible radio ad. In it, a woman explains the facts surrounding the issue, where it happens, how it feels, the root causes behind it and what we can do about it all in a single, uninterrupted sentence. |
