Richard Shain, co-founder, and CEO & President of Performance Analysis
Group, Inc. (PAG), is responsible for the overall management, strategic
direction, and marketing of the media auditing firm.
Shain brings to PAG more than 30 years of advertising industry management and consulting, as well as marketing and product development experience. Immediately, prior to co-founding the firm in 1998 with his sister, Pamela, he served as president of PAG’s predecessor business, RA Shain & Associates, Inc., a strategic marketing and media consultancy.
In earlier positions, Shain served as vice president and director of client services for Arnold Advertising, whose largest client was McDonald’s; vice president and account supervisor for Foote, Cone & Belding Advertising, with a client roster headed by the Clorox Company; and in brand management positions with Procter & Gamble.
Shain attended Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business, where he majored in marketing;and received a BS in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Finance and Commerce. He served at U. S. Army headquarters in Vietnam as a public information specialist and correspondent, and was awarded the Bronze Star.
