Pat’s been on a creative journey his whole life. Circling the globe twice with his parents before he was 11. After sailing through the Java straights Pat finally docked in Fremantle Australia before crossing the Nullarbor to settle in Melbourne. A global citizen Pat travels extensively to many diverse cultures, cities, countries and regions.
Patrick is currently the chief creative officer of McCann Australia, McCann Health, SMART, MRM and The Red Republic, this includes offices located in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. In 2013 McCann Melbourne was ranked as the No.1 creative agency in the world by the 'Gunn Report' and 'Agency of The Year' by Campaign Brief. Patrick was ranked by the Advertising Age as the worlds No.1 creative director and art director by the 'Directory Big Won' rankings as the No.1 art director and No.4 copywriter. In 2014 McCann became the 3rd most effective agency in Australia. In 2015 Pat was named the first ever winner of the 'Creative Of The Year' at the Australian Creative & Effectiveness Awards. He is also the only Australian creative director and art director to have had work awarded by TED and housed in London's Design Museum.
A Cannes Film Jury Member in 2015 Patrick has represented his industry on juries such as One Club Film, New York Festivals, Spikes, Chairman Direct AWARD Awards, Sirens, is a Young Lions Digital Judge, AWARD School judge and an ADMA judge. Patrick also writes opinion articles in the media for Campaign Asia, B&T, AdNews, Campaign Brief and is a presenter at seminars and media events.
Patrick's work has been recognized at every international award show with over 450 international awards, including the most awarded campaign in the history of Cannes and D&AD, Dumb Ways to Die" for Metro Trains.
