The message was simple: “Come as a clown, eat like a king.” During the night of Halloween celebrations, Burger King gave away a Whopper to everyone that came dressed as a clown. You don't need to read Stephen King to think clowns are scary. As a way of defying the fear and teasing its main rival, Burger King offered a free Whopper to anyone who came dressed as a clown on Halloween. Scary Clown Night generated a vast array of costumes and some great PR too. |
