Lema | Putting people in the shoes of those suffering can go a long way |
Filosofía | Giffarine LZ vit, a brand of vitamins for the eyes, believes that patients with Corneal Disease can be cured and have a chance to see clearly once again. To help raise funds for Thai Red Cross Eye Bank, 156 artists were asked to create their artwork in 3x3 cm canvases. The tiny frames were later displayed at the Smallery Art Exhibition with all the proceedings (around US$ 15,000) going to the Red Cross. Both the artists (when creating) and the art lovers (when admiring the pieces) experienced the vision challenges of those with Corneal Disease. Can other charities around you benefit —maybe with the help of brands— from the empathy approach? Putting people in the shoes of those suffering, if done nicely, can go a long way. |
