Dr Cathrine Jansson-Boyd is a Reader at Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge, UK. She is a consumer psychologist who is particularly interested in the role of touch in product evaluation, visual and tactile aesthetics, multi sensory perception and environmentally related consumption issues. Dr Jansson-Boyd has published two books ‘Consumer Psychology’ and ‘Consumption Matters: A psychological perspective’ and a number of articles on her research topics. She is also a co-editor of the International Handbook of Consumer Psychology, published in 2017. Cathrine has also worked with a number of large organisations on consumer related matters such as Unilever, Skanska, Essex police, Disney, Cambridgeshire county council, Fenland council, Coutts retail communications, Suffolk county council and Bass brewery. Additionally, she is frequently invited as a guest speaker at companies and other universities.
