As Head of Communications, Romy leads TBWA\RAAD’s Public Relations and Corporate Communications strategy and promotes the company’s vision for Disruption in the region.
In her previous role as Corporate Communications Director, Romy was responsible for the agency’s internal and external communications, spearheading media relations and partnerships for the agency, organizing corporate events and enhancing the agency’s presence and profile at regional and global creative award shows such as the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity, the Loeries, New York Festivals, Dubai Lynx, MENA Effie awards and more.
Romy helped enhance TBWA\RAAD’s reputation in the region and contributed to agency, leadership, and talent recognition, with TBWA\RAAD earning the title of The Middle East’s Most Innovative Company in Advertising by Fast Company Middle East and CEO Reda Raad, designated Advertising Person of the Year by Arab Ad in 2022.
Romy started her career as a graphic designer, working for agencies and brands, before shifting to the world of communications with TBWA\RAAD and J. Walter Thompson.
She holds a BA in Graphic Design from the Lebanese American University in Beirut (LAU) and a Masters in Marketing & Communication from Ecole Supérieure des Affaires/ESCP Europe.
