copywriter to finally rising up to lead as a senior creative leader for Lowe Lintas, handling Global Creative duties for
flagship Unilever brand : Lifebuoy.
His work on other accounts include Liril, Hamam, Bajaj, PSI, USAID, Back, ICICI MF etc.
His work on Lifebuoy "Little Gandhi" and USAID "Bindas Bol" won Grand n Gold Effies.
Since 2011, he has been directing TV commercials. With over 90 films to his credit in a short span of 7 years, Ads
directed by Manoj for HDFC cancer cure fund, Naco, Samrat Atta, UNICEF etc have won many hearts apart from a few
local and international awards for film craft.
His directorial reel includes such prestigious brands as Dove, Dettol, Star TV, HDFC, Sony liv, ABP news, Tata Tea,
Maggi, Havells, Spanish Government- Ministry of health, Cipla pharmaceuticals , Surf Excel, Idea cellular, Nokia, Aircel
etc.
Manoj has been in the film craft jury of Adfest Asia, the prestigious International award show for advertising across
Asia-Pacific region.
Manoj has also been part of Indian film Industry, as a screenwriter and lyricist. Some of his most noted
contributionsinclude Hindi feature films such as Cheeni Kum, Manorama 6 feet under, Madras Café, Saala Khadoos
etc. Both as a writer and director Manoj's quest is to find soul in the stories he tells.
He is deeply interested in human relationships, human behavior and psychology. Extremely fascinated by neo realism
and aesthetics Manoj deeply admires the works of Satyajit Ray, Vittorio de sica, Renoir, Kurosawa, Aghar Farhadi,
Kiarostami, Inarritu, Ozu, Bong Joon-Ho and many more.
