Danny Alvarez is an award winning Art Director who attended the Art Institute of Miami, where he studied Graphic Design and Advertising. A Miami native, he spent the beginning of his professional career working at some of the best agencies in the world, including Wieden+Kennedy, Chiat, Crispin Porter + Bogusky, BBDO and DAVID The Agency. He is currently an Executive Creative Director at Republica Havas. Danny has been fortunate enough to win over 30 global awards for brands including Budweiser, Burger King and Kraft Heinz. Notably, his Burger King Bullying Jr. campaign is now part of the MoMA’s permanent film collection, gathering over 3 billion impressions in a matter of days and creating the most social conversation ever for the Burger King brand. He is also "unknown" for being the ghost-designer behind the Buscemi “Birkin Shoe” - a sneaker inspired by the famously unattainable Hermes Birkin Bag. When he is not focusing on advertising, Danny spends time creating fine art pieces and has exhibited his personal work at a number of national shows, most notably the prestigious Art Basel Fair in Miami Beach, FL.
