Mario Lagos is very passionate about the advertising business, creativity and about finding ideas that improve the brand experience, the client’s business, the planet and people’s lives.
His career started at Mullen Lowe-SSP3, where he spent over 8 years. During that time, he was a fundamental part of the team that positioned the agency as the world’s most creative, according to Advertising Age and WARC.
In 2015 Lagos joined Sancho BBDO, where he is Chief Creative Officer. His performance and work have been essential so that during the past three years Sancho BBDO has been the most effective agency in the world, according to Effie Index.
Year after year he has been recognized in the most important festivals of creativity and effectiveness. He counts with over 180 awards, and among them are Latin America’s first Titanium in Cannes Lions, and also the first Black Pencil for Latin America at the D&AD.
